People love improving their homes. The experience of doing it often isn’t nearly as enjoyable.
The industry has plenty of good tradespeople, but customers are still too often choosing between businesses that are unreliable, impersonal, forgettable or simply difficult to deal with.
We think there’s a huge opportunity to do it differently.
Brolly’s combines beautiful exterior cleaning transformations with the level of service, communication and personality we’d want if somebody was working on our own home.
Today we do that across Surrey, transforming roofs and exteriors on some incredible properties.
Our current five-year plan is to grow to around 40 vans and build the largest residential exterior cleaning company in the UK.
From there, we expect Brolly’s to keep expanding what we can do for the exterior of a home, adding complementary services where they make the customer experience better and the business stronger.

Grizel Hocknell is an ex-Arup Structural Engineer with an MEng in Civil Engineering. Today she leads much of Brolly’s operations and service delivery, bringing the same eye for planning, detail and problem solving to how we deliver work for our customers. She has personally project managed every single Brolly’s transformation to date.

Christian Sloane spent the previous five years building the largest specialist growth marketing agency serving the exterior cleaning industry. He worked with 150+ exterior cleaning companies, from small owner-operators to some of the largest residential & commercial contractors in the space, helping them build demand, improve sales and develop the systems needed to support growth.
